01. Dwarf Date Palm (Phoenix Roebelenii)

Relatively easy to grow, requires partial shade, grows up to 6-10 feet

Toxins removed: formaldehyde and xylene

02. Chrysanthemums (Chrysanthemum Morifolium)

One of the best air purifier plants, difficult to grow but its beautiful, colourful blooms make the end result worth it

Toxins removed: ammonia, benzene, formaldehyde, and xylene

03. Ficus/Weeping Fig (Ficus Benjamina)

Requires direct and bright sunlight, weekly watering – needs to dry out fully between drinks

Toxins removed: formaldehyde, trichloroethylene, and benzene

04. Aloe Vera (Aloe Vera or A. barbadensis)

Possesses anti-inflammatory properties, great air purifier, grows brown spots on it’s leaves when the level of harmful chemicals is extreme so works as an indicator too.

05. Areca palms (Chrysalidocarpus Lutescens)

Great for big spaces, a powerhouse of eliminating toxins, requires watering a couple of times a week

Toxins removed: benzene, carbon monoxide, formaldehyde, trichloroethylene, xylene.
